Through the esteemed columns of the National Media and Press, we take opportunity to highlight the serious concern of the working class of the nation over the consequential ill effects of "Declaration of Emergency" in the country and arrest of the Lawyers and Political Activists in the country resulting the loss of Trade and Export of its goods and stoppage of Foreign Visitors, thereby, causing unemployment among the workers and continuous sky rocketing price hike of essential commodities.

PWF therefore, strongly urge to the Government that it should bring the country into normalcy in the wider national interest by

1. Lifting the Emergency and restoration of the Constitution of Pakistan immediately.

2. Release all prisoners including Lawyers and Judges and Political Activists.

3. Respect the right of freedom of Independence of Judiciary and Press and Association guaranteed under Constitution of Pakistan and ILO Conventions ratified by the Government of  Pakistan and restore Channels of GEO and ARY TV immediately and get repealed all Anti-Labour Legislation including "Industrial Relations Ordinance, 2002."

4. Hold Fair and Independent Elections through Independent Election Commission with consensus of all Political Parties in the country in order to bring Amity and Reconciliation in the nation.

5. Check Price hike of essential commodities.

                        The Federation has decided to observe to hold Gate Meetings of its all affiliated Trade Unions in support of these demands to mobilize public opinion and observe "Protest Day on 28^th November, 207 all over the country.
